With backgrounds in science & engineering, owners Alec Satterly, Josh Jones & Christina Rizzetta apply their knowledge of each origins and blends chemical and physical properties to their roasting process. They even roast everything manually, no computers here! These folks are not only changing the roasting game, they're changing the retail game for the deaf community. Both Alec & Christina are deaf and at Wake Coffee's cafe they encourage customers and staff to use ASL to communicate with members of the deaf community.
